Just watched Fame for the first time the other night, and it was actually a good movie. There were so many messages I got out of the movie, but what I was impressed with most, was their quote about success. The film acknowledges the harsh realities of how some people will make it and how others just aren't good enough. Watching movies like this may leave you uneasy about your future plans. Overall, this movie did not affect how I feel and the hopes I have for my future. I love what I do! I love making people happy! I love helping others when they feel lost! I love putting a smile on faces that haven't had a reason to smile. Most importantly, I love doing what God has sent me here to do.
The quote from the movie Fame:
“There are somethings success is not.
It’s not fame. It’s not money or power.
Success is waking up every morning so excited that you literally fly out the door.
Success is getting to work with people you love.
Success is connecting with the world and making people feel.
It’s finding a way to bind together people who have nothing more than a common dream.
It’s falling asleep at night knowing you did the best job you could.
Success is joy and freedom and friendship.
And success is love.”
